We recommend you have the last meal at least for an hour and half to two hours before the session. It is more comfortable if you have an empty stomach. If possible, avoid processed food, dairy food, and animal protein for 2 days prior receiving a Colonic Hydrotherapy session. Drink no alcohol again at least 2 days prior the session.

Eat lightly and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Drink plenty of fluids, especially water several days before your treatment.

It may be more comfortable for you to wear a two-piece garment to your appointment.

After treatment try to keep the rest of the day low key to enable the body to continue the cleansing process.

Following large intestinal cleansing, the body may feel weary or relaxed. This is simply your body working out and processing through its cleaning period; so proper rest is important for your body to rejuvenate.

 

PLEASE ABSTAIN FROM ALCOHOL, RICH AND SPICY FOODS FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS AFTER YOUR TREATMENT.

Other recommendation:

  •  Drink plenty of liquids (purified or distilled water, juices, herb teas, and electrolyte liquids)

  •  Avoid heavy food such as fried food, steaks etc.

  •  Steamed vegetables and raw fruit are sufficient, chew very thoroughly

  •  Reduce flesh consumption (especially beef, pork and chicken)

 

On occasion, if there has been a longstanding condition of constipation or several health problems, a slight headache or fatigue may be experienced with the first or second colonic. If this is so, a short rest will help restore one’s equilibrium. In some cases you may feel slightly bloated for a few hours after the colonic, as the untrapped gas makes its way to the exit. If this is the case, have a cup of peppermint tea and lie down with a hot water bottle for a while. In very rare cases tiredness persists for a few days, as the body continues to detoxify itself. In these cases, we recommend having another colonic treatment to accelerate the process.

 

Although irrigating the colon does not remove all of the intestinal bacteria, it is still helpful to take probiotics to maintain bacterial balance. Live yoghurt with acidophilus is also advised because it is an active cleanser that also adds vital forces to the colon.
